I’m so happy that the weather’s finally started to warm up and I can say goodbye to big coats and a big hello to my extensive wardrobe of jackets that have been hiding away all winter! I’ve always been one for a statement jacket but I get too cold in winter to wear anything other than the warmest coats I can find. I’ll admit, I was a little bit sad to say goodbye to my faithful Zara aviator that I’ve been literally living in all season….but she’s now been relegated to the back of my wardrobe until next year. Providing the weather stays warm, that is! The silver lining is that it means I get to bust out all my non-warm jackets and start playing around with fashion again instead of having to cover up every cute outfit in a big old coat!
I’ve actually had this camo print number for a while (bad blogging etiquette I know, wearing something from an old collection) but I love it and it seems silly to buy a newer version when it will be basically the same as this one! I decided to revamp my camouflage jacket for 2017 by pairing it with an embroidered top (my new obsession – everything in my wardrobe is becoming embroidered) and some slip-on loafers, aka my new dream shoe. Honestly…I own so many pairs it’s getting a bit ridiculous! I ,love the casual vibes of this look paired with the pretty fabulous metallic gold shoes, it’s a fun look for a day of wandering London! Looking forward to sharing more outfit posts now that Spring is finally here and I’ve found a few willing blogging pals to take photos with (big thanks to Gemma Talbot for these beauts!)
