This weekend was another one spent wandering around London – my favourite pastime! I walked from Trafalgar Square to the Southbank and couldn’t resist stopping for some outfit pics along the way. I love the pale stone buildings like this in London, they make for the best light and an easy backdrop for city shots! This outfit just sums up my summer in the city style at the moment – a cute slip dress paired with a tee and trainers. It’s just the easiest throw on style when the weather’s warm but you still want to be comfy! I’ve got a bit of a slip dress obsession going on right now and this is the latest addition to my collection, whaddya think? It’s from House of Fraser and definitely could be a more dressy piece with it’s bodycon style and lace detailing, but I love it dressed down. It would be gorgeous on a night out with strappy heeled sandals too!
These trainers are also a new addition to my ever-expanding shoedrobe – some new Adidas Gazelles. I love the white trainer look anyway and these ones are streamlined enough to still look cute with a dress. Adidas Gazelles are my latest obsession, I now own 3 pairs which is a little bit excessive but I just can’t resist ’em! I don’t think I’ll ever get enough of London’s dressed down, urban street-style. Moving here has definitely influenced the way I dress (especially working in Soho where I get outfit envy about 10 times a day when I walk down the street!) but I love it. Walking around the city this weekend I couldn’t feel more lucky to be here, spending my twenties in such an amazing city buzzing with excitement and a million things to do at any moment – it’s such an exciting feeling to be in the middle of and I can’t wait to embrace city life even more for the rest of the summer!
