One of my favourite London past-times is eating, and my favourite meal is without a doubt brunch. London does brunch pretty damn well and I love nothing more than getting together with some of my best gals and trying out a new brunch spot!
The latest place we tried was Bourne and Hollingsworth – a beautiful restaurant in Angel which is home to some delicious menu options, instagrammable interiors and of course the bottomless brunch bellinis which obviously went down a treat! It’s such a pretty place, the interior took my breath away as soon as I came through the door – light, airy and full of botanical printed homeware, marble tables and hanging plants. It instantly gave me tons of decorating inspo for my own living room!
The menu itself has loads of choice, from build-your-own English breakfasts to drop scones with different (their version of pancakes) or more unusual dishes like lobster royale and braised beef with eggs and hollandaise. I went for the Huevos Benedictos, a Mexican spin on the usual eggs benedict with chorizo sausage and avocado. It was yummy! We also had the bottomless bellinis and bloody marys which can be refilled as many times as you like while you’re there, a genius brunch idea if I ever heard one, although slightly dangerous for a Sunday!
I can’t recommend trying this place out more, it’s so pretty and perfect for a occasion or birthday for a brunch experience that’s a little bit more special. The chilled atmosphere makes it perfect for a long relaxed brunch and girly catch up! The location is just off Exmouth Market too so you’re in a prime location for boutique browsing or hopping between coffee shops/bars too afterwards.
Check out the Bourne and Hollingsworth site here for menus, location details and bookings. Happy brunching!
