This weekend I’m doing something a little bit different and heading to the Be:Fit Health & Fitness Festival in Islington. It’s not a secret to my friends and workmates that I’ve got very into all things well-being in the last year or so, from lunchtime yoga classes to green juices and superfood recipes to try, but it’s not something I’ve started talking about all that much on my blog. I want to start writing about lifestyle a lot more on here though and I’m sure wellbeing will soon become almost as big a part of this blog as it is a part of my life (I hope that doesn’t put you off reading!)
So when I was offered the chance to go along to Be:Fit I jumped at the chance. It’s a 3-day fitness, health and wellbeing festival for women comprising of guest speakers, live fitness classes with big-name teachers and cookery sessions from some of London’s best known nutrition personalities. The aim is to inspire and empower women by spreading happiness and self-esteem through health. Some of the highlights (for me at least) include lessons with youtube yogi Tara Stiles, dance classes with Danielle Peazer and spin sessions with Boom Cycle in the Reebox Fitness Studio, masterclasses with my favourite healthy London eateries Farm Girl and The Good Life Eatery and talks from cookery gurus Madeline Shaw and Honestly Healthy. There will also be plenty of shopping from fitness and food brands too. Needless to say, I’m very excited and currently planning my weekend around which of the lineup I want to see!
I’ll be sharing some snaps on instagram (rosieglow) and snapchat (rosie-glow) while I’m there and posting about what I got up to at the festival after the weekend, but if you’d like to know more about the festival or grab some of the last tickets for yourself, check out the website here.
Be:Fit Festival runs from 29th April – 1st May at the Business Design Centre, Islington
