Ripped Jeans, Espadrilles & Messy Hair

It seems so funny now looking at these photos of my long hair. I got the chop quite a while back now, but what with one thing and the other (read: working my butt off at London Fashion Week and moving house all in the last few weeks), I’ve barely had time to blog! So I’ve got a few overdue outfit posts coming up this week that have been sitting stock-piled on my macbook, shot and edited and patiently waiting for the day when I will have enough time on my hands to actually sit down and write a post! Luckily this weekend I’ve finally stopped (for two days at least) and after moving back to my parents’ for a few weeks while I wait for my new London pad to be ready I’ve given myself a weekend to just chill, appreciate some “me time” and do some much needed life-admin.

I didn’t want to let this outfit go to waste despite the slightly squinty, sunny photos, so I hope you can forgive the less-than-perfect lighting and appreciate the clothes all the same! These jeans are my all-time fave, and a staple piece in my wardrobe whenever I’m having a “what to wear to work” crisis. You can’t beat the basics, and throwing on these with a stripy tee is one of my go-to looks for effortless style. These amazing Daniel Footwear espadrilles I got recently just top off the look and give it that chic designer-meets-casual feel. Not quite the Chanel espadrilles I so desperately long for (a girl can dream), but still pretty beautiful in buttery soft leather and cream and black monochrome. They’re super comfy too which is always a bonus! Now I just need to figure out how to work these into my winter wardrobe once it gets colder….

What do you think of today’s look?

Jeans – Vila

Top – Sheinside

Jacket – Mango

Espadrilles – Daniel Footwear

Bag – Oasis
