Yogi hair straighteners

Hey, guess what?! I’ve got new hair!!! You have no idea how long it’s been since I’ve been able to say that….here’s a secret for you, I haven’t had my hair cut in over a year! Last time I went they cut waaay too much off and I’ve been scared to go back ever since! In the end I caved and used a voucher I had been given by ladbrokes a while back (read that post here) because I really wanted to try out a reverse-ombre dip dye!
I’ve never dyed my hair in my entire life so I have to say I was pretty scared getting that done and the dreaded haircut  all at once! The less said about the actual haircut the better (long story short, there was a power cut after I got the dye washed out of my hair, and I ended up with a haircut that lased literally two seconds and about 5 snips of the scissors, and unstyled poker straight hair to walk home with, which is literally my idea of hell!) But, despite the awful experience, I have to say I’m very happy with the dye! I went for a light coppery brown dip-dye at the ends, and I love it! It’s more subtle than I expected it to be, and I think I might be addicted to dip-dye now!!
To celebrate (and to fix my ridiculous Avril Lavigne-straight locks) I thought I’d try a bit of styling with my Yogi hair straighteners which I’ve been meaning to blog about for ages! I haven’t had a pair of straighteners since my GHDs perished in a tragic accident (read: I trod on them) so I was super happy to recieve these ones! Not only are they cute and pink, they work perfectly for how I like to use my straighteners, which is – ironically – for curling! The mini width of these makes them a perfect straightener-come-curling wand, and by wrapping your hair around them they create a lovely loose wave which is perfect for a beachy look! hey’re perfect for me because they are so easy to use. They heat up extra quick and create a great look in just minutes, perfect for me and my lazy hair ways! Definitely the best non-ghd straightener I have tried, that’s for sure!
Check out the whole range of Yogi products on their website; I’m itching to try the curling wands next! And look out for my outfit posts soon when you’ll be able to see my new hair in all it’s glory!

Some women get Virgin Indian Hair Extensions to lengthen their hairstyle. By having long extensions added to even rather short hairstyles, a women con go from having chin length hair to having locks all the way down to her waist in the matter of an afternoon. As hair extensions can dramatically change a person’s look, they are often used in styling for fashion shoots or in movies.

Your hair looks amazing. I recently had a similar experience, I paid £104 to get colour correction but because I wasn’t paying £40 to get my hair cut (considering I usually only get 1 inch cut off) they refused to style my hair for me unless I paid for it. At least I love the colour! xx

omg, power cut in the salon- sounds like a complete nightmare. I think I would have cried. But you’ve never dyed your hair before?! You mean to say that you are naturally such a beautiful blonde?! Lucky girl!! The copper ombre does look gorgeous though! x

PS: your new straighteners match your lipstick! 🙂
