Leopard print dress – New Look
T-shirt – Topshop
Necklace – Topshop
So this is what I wore today in the end – nothing spectacular, but I liked it! The t-shirt and necklace I basically customised myself from stuff I already had – cut the bottom off an old topshop tunic for the t-shirt, and attatched a wing earring ( I’d lost the other one!) to a chain to make the necklace ‘cos I really liked the design but had lost the other one of the pair!!
Had a lovely day with the fam – loads of food and laughter, which I think is always the recipe for a good family day!
So anyway, I decided even though I can’t afford to buy much at the moment, that doesn’t have to stop me looking now does it! So I’ve compiled my very first lust list for you to have a mosey at 🙂 Don’t buy it all before I can!
This really is my number one want at the moment -I can’t get enough of leopard print and the design of this coat is so vintage and chic. Hopefully I can earn the money to buy it before I go back to Uni and soon be channeling my inner Kate Moss in this beauty!
So, Aviator jackets are a huge thing right now….but I just can’t decide if the hype will last long enough to make buying an expensive one worth it! Luckily, I found this Matalan one for a measly £30, which might just solve the problem. And it’s only available from October so I’ve still got a while to decide!
I need need need to get myself a bowler hat! Spotted on Fearne Cotton, one of my all-time fashion crushes and probably the person I would most like to be in the world, the bowler adds instant retro cool to just about any outfit. Gimme now!!
As with the Aviator trend, I can’t tell how much of investment fur trimmed boots are gonna be! However, for Urban Outfitters, these are a snip at £38 pounds, and a gorgeous design….sigh if only I had all the money in the world…
These shoes are. just. beautiful. I love brogues anyway but the leather of these is so soft and gorgeous; I tried them on in the shop and wanted to just sit there stroking them! They’re also the perfect warmer, drier flat shoe alternative to impractical ballet pumps for the winter ( trust me – after many a cold damp foot and ruined shoe I finally learnt my lesson in Manchester last winter and will definitely be wearing more waterproof shoes this year!)
So there we go, I’m gonna stop at 5 cos I just can’t keep torturing myself like this! I’m sure I’m gonna cave with the not spending money thing, and you’ll be seeing all these things in my posts soon haha!
